Mineral resources in Russian economics
In the paper the environmental factor influence on economics and welfare of the society has been shown. The conclusion on the necessity of structural reorganization and ecologization of economics, control on nature exploitation independently from ownership form and from forms of managing has been made. The author has tried to prove that the balanced nature exploitation is one of the main factors of country steady progressing.

Conceptual foundations of the regional system management of consumption residue
Systems analysis of waste management at international, state and regional levels has been carried out in the paper. The conditions of waste basic sources' distribution, volume and composition of industrial and domestic waste on the territory of the Murmansk region and the town itself have been researched, the systematization of waste according to kinds and classes of danger has been given. The dynamics of formation and processing of waste has been studied. The analysis of legal base (at the federal and regional levels) of waste management has been given. The investigated region can be considered as representational both according to the character of production and its waste and climatic conditions as well.

On forestry certification in Russia
The mechanism of formation of the dissolved oxygen shortage has been discussed in the paper. The shortage is observed at ocean depths in the conditions of advective and convective transference of the water mass particles at high and low latitudes. Basing on the expedition data and the thermoxygenic transformation model the method of indirect assessment of physical and biochemical constituents of the oxygen negative budget has been proposed.

Ecological aspects of energy supply of the northern territories
The paper considers use of the non-traditional renewable energy sources as the most ecological alternative in the world economics. The main forecast parameters of the energy evolution have been shown. The problem of the energy provision of the North region, energy renewable sources involvement in economics have been studied on the example of the Murmansk region.
